At Human Risks, we’re always looking ahead to how we can make the platform work harder – delivering the tools, insights, and workflows that help teams stay ahead of evolving security risks. Whether that’s surfacing intelligence faster, making reporting easier, or ensuring data tells a clearer story, our focus is on enabling action through clarity.
This month’s updates reflect that mindset. From an exciting new integration with Decis Intelligence, to upcoming improvements in the Incident Reports module and a host of smaller enhancements across the platform. Here’s a summary of what’s new — and what’s on the way.
New Integration with Decis Intelligence
We’re excited to share that we’ve partnered with Decis Intelligence (decis.ai) to bring more options for automated, contextual intelligence directly into the security risk assessment process — enhancing the way security managers and asset owners assess risk at a country level.
The new embedded feed delivers automated risk ratings, directional assessments, and latest news summaries backed by AI and machine learning analysis to support faster, more informed decisions within the security risk assessment process.

Decis Intelligence provides intelligence reports at speed and scale for risk, finance and security leaders. Combining artificial intelligence with 20 years of geopolitical analysis, the Decis engine automates assessment of over 500 stability markers to provide a comprehensive evaluation of a country’s stability based on both recent events and long-term trends. Taking into consideration global stability factors such as democratic integrity, political equilibrium, law & order, quality of life, environmental hazards, international relations, economic resilience, and internal social harmony.
The result? A comprehensive, real-time picture of country-level stability — delivered in context. At speed and scale.
We’re rolling out the new integration as a trial available for all Human Risks customers, and would love your feedback as we continue building around the engine’s capabilities. To activate the new feed for your team, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Success team.
Coming Changes to the Incident Reports Module
We are currently testing a set of backend and usability improvements to the Incident Reports Module aimed at supporting teams working with internal and external reports together in one workflow — particularly those managing tens of thousands of records across multiple sources.

These changes will support a more scalable, responsive experience for those working with incident reports in Human Risks — alongside improvements to data filtering, and exporting for teams using extensive custom fields.
The update is currently in beta testing and is planned for release in April 2025. Our team will be in touch ahead of deployment to walk you through any changes relevant to your workflows.
Wider Updates This Month
Since our last update, we’ve also released a number of smaller improvements across the platform — focused on giving users more control, visibility, and flexibility in how they manage and report on risk. Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
- More context in control assessments: Teams now have more flexible options to add additional context when assessing the implementation status and efficacy of a treatment, alongside new administrator options to require further context in specific scenarios.
- Improved sorting and filtering on risk assessments: Filter and sort your risk assessment data by overall risk score, last review, and next review date to quickly prioritise focus points for compliance.
- More data in excel exports: Export reports from the Task and Risk Assessments Modules have been updated to support better data analysis options for teams working offline.
- Global site categorisation controls: Administrators now have more flexibility when configuring site category questionnaires, including the ability to mandate the use of a global methodology for defining site criticality.
- Refined cost calculations in risk assessments: We’ve updated how cost metrics are calculated within Risk Assessments, making it easier to understand the total cost of control measures and dive into this data at any time from the Treatments Register.
For more information on any of the above changes, feel free to reach out to the Human Risks team—or check the in-platform user guidance at any time.
