Rositaa Sinnathurai is responsible for onboarding and training clients, ensuring that they get the best out of our platform. We caught up with Rositaa for our ‘Get to know Human Risks’ interview series.

 

  1. What do you most enjoy about training clients to use the Human Risks Platform?
    I enjoy giving the clients an “aha” feeling when they figure out the platform and the features on it.

     

  2. What skills do you find particularly useful for this role?

    I believe having empathy and good communication are the key to performing well.

     

  3. Do the diverse groups of people you help to onboard have any similar challenges with the learning process? If so how do you help them overcome this?

    Yes, there are a few things that are often seen as a challenge by many of the clients I train. Such as if they are not yet working digitally. The way we overcome this is by creating helpful articles and training material explaining these challenges. This way we can be more proactive in terms of the challenges clients often face.

     

  4. Can you tell us a little bit more about the new training video series you are working on?

    Yes, I am currently making a series of videos that are going to supplement the training we do. The videos are a way for clients to look up any key feature of the platform and its function. This way they will always have an online library of videos. They can then go back and see how to use a particular function, without relying completely on their recollection of the training sessions.

     

  5. What do you consider to be the most important factors when training people to use our Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) platform?

    That the people who get trained understand the importance and the purpose of what they can gain through training.

     

  6. How has your background education and work experience helped to prepare you for this role?

    I find that my education in International Business Communication has given me many skills in terms of working with communication in an international context. It has especially given me skills to deal with intercultural challenges. This is crucial when dealing with clients from different countries and backgrounds.

     

  7. What do you find most interesting about the Security Risk Management industry?

    I didn’t know much about this industry before I started working at Human Risks. However, after starting here I have discovered how crucial and important this industry is to keep people safe and ensure business continuity.

     

  8. What tips can you offer to clients about to embark on the onboarding process?

    To prioritise the training because proper training sets the foundation for the rest of the customer journey.

     

  9. Can you give any examples of client feedback on how the platform has helped them to improve operational efficiency?

    One example would be of a client who found our platform to be easier to manage and understand, than some of the other ways they used to do security risk management in the past.

     

  10. What has been your most rewarding experience while at Human Risks?

    It has been great to have the opportunity to interact with clients across the world from different cultures. I particularly enjoy helping clients to get the full value out of our platform.
